With a Thai restaurant on practically every other corner in the city, it becomes difficult to differentiate one from the others. But SINGHA THAI RESTAURANT offers a unique, riverside location, with outdoor seating in the summer. Plus, it's all within a stone's throw of the Loop, perfect for a quick lunchtime getaway. If the weather suddenly drops 20 degrees as it often does in the Windy City, take it inside for some traditional Thai seating on padded mats at floor level.

With no dinner entree priced at more than $7, your party is encouraged to order several and share family-style. In addition to all the favorite cuisine selections, there's sake, plum and contemporary wines, Anchor Steam, Beck's, Kirin, Tsing Tao and Amstel Light, plus typical domestic beers. Seating is designed the same way as it's done in Thailand, with padded benches surrounding the tables. The dining room is a large plaza containing tables for various party sizes; if you've got a group, try to reserve the single private room for between 10 and 14 people
